Product description:
Cuts the stem at the neck of the onion. Closed model, 6 knives. Grate size: 30 mm. For optimum air circulation and dust reduction, conveyor belt under the machine for waste discharge.

When using Holaras machines, the stem is not pulled off but cut by rapidly rotating blades. This avoids damage because the blades do not touch the bulb. The number of controlled vibrations transmitted through the vibrating fibres by the specially designed vibrator motors is such that the bulb moves in a floating motion on the vibrating fibres. The onion is drawn down the fibres through the openings by a strong air current and then cut by the blades. The vibrating sieves are easily interchangeable. Vibrating sieves are available for almost all types and sizes of onions and bulbs. Seed onions, medium and edible onions and bulbs are removed without any difficulty and without damage with the Holaras onion cutter. It is important to use the right fibre for each type of onion. Regular dosing is necessary. This can be achieved by using a hopper.
