UPUS-2 in-line potato and vegetable harvester, directly from the Hungarian importer.

Available in single- and double-row versions for 62,5-67,5 cm and 70-75 cm row spacing. With rubber coated belt. Also suitable for potatoes, vegetables and onions.

Upus conveyor belt pickers (2-row) are machines mounted on a three-point suspension and driven by the tractor's TLT. The picker is mounted on a tractor equipped with a category II and III suspension system.

The pick-up is equipped with wide track road wheels for stable operation and transport. The properly positioned stalk undercuts two adjacent ridges and the side discs with which the machine is equipped cut off excess soil and vegetation residues. The cut ridge is transferred to the sieve belt.

As the belt moves and vibrates, the clod is crushed and the soil flows over the conveyor bars, while the dug-out tuber/root of the plant is simultaneously moved towards the rear of the machine.

The offer includes the option of one or two sieving conveyors with bars covered by a rubber cover, which minimises the risk of damage to the dug out tubers or roots.

On the back of the digger there are suitably profiled slides that guide the dug potatoes onto the ridge behind the digger. The sliding chips allow the excavated tubers/roots to be positioned in such a way as to avoid the possibility of damage to the tuber/root by the tractor's tyres during the next pass.

The digger can be equipped with a potato or vegetable picker.
