Description
General characteristics of bagging and bag filling scales

The bagging and bag filling scales are primarily designed as individual scales, given the different materials to be filled and the different capacity requirements of the bags and sacks used. There are also differences in the weighing principle: a gross weighing instrument may fill and measure the product in a bag placed on the filling tube, while a net weighing instrument pre-measures the material in an internal weighing container and then empties it into the bag placed on the filling tube. For the recommended filling scales, we can also supply additional equipment such as a support stand, a pre-storage container, a bag transfer belt, a sewing machine, a welder, etc.

In all cases, the guide prices indicated in the data include only the ex-works price of the basic machine.

We have tried to typify our filling scales on the basis of the tasks and recommend the following grouping of equipment, taking into account the characteristics of the material to be filled.

Bagging scales for granular products

Suitable for bagging: seeds, cereals, fertilisers, well-flowing granular materials
Feeder: gravity feed, two-stage
These scales are equipped with a gravity feeder, pneumatic cylinders actuate the feeder and the bag catching unit. The scales have a load cell weighing element and digital control electronics. Simple, easy to install equipment with low maintenance requirements.
It can be equipped with a conveyor belt and a bag sewing unit.

Rubber crop bagging scales

Suitable for: dosing, bagging of more or less uniformly sized products in pieces (potatoes, onions, etc.)
Dispenser: one or two inclined conveyor belts with spoons
These scales are equipped with a belt forced-feeder, manual bag-clamping unit, net scales with motorized bottom door.
The scales have a load cell weighing element and digital control electronics. Simple, easy to install equipment with low maintenance requirements. It is mobile. Can be equipped with a conveyor belt and bag sewing equipment.

Grinds, flours, dusty material bagging scales

Suitable for: dosing and bagging of flours, feed meals, premixes, powdery, less adhesive products.
Feeder: pulley, rotary cell, gravity, combinations of these, conveyor belt
These scales are equipped with a forced feed unit, pneumatic bag clamping unit, net scales with pneumatic bottom door.
The scales have a load cell weighing element and digital control electronics.
It can be equipped with a conveyor belt and a bag sealing unit.

Sack weighing scales for earth moist material

Suitable for filling and bagging: compost, potting soil, sewage sludge and similar slightly moist, non-sticky materials. The equipment is recommended for filling sieved products, where the appearance of larger clods (25 mm x 25 mm) is excluded. The product to be fed must not adhere to the conveyor belt.
Feeder: inclined belt, two-stage forced feeding
These scales are equipped with a belt-type positive dispenser and a manual bag clamping unit with pneumatic actuation.
They are typically gross scales, whereby filling and weighing are carried out in a bag placed on the filling tube.
The scales have a load cell weighing element and digital control electronics. It is simple, easy to install and requires little maintenance. It is mobile. Can be equipped with conveyor belt and bag sewing equipment.
Main types:
