Description
The mineral needs of sheep and goats are met by Schaumann's two-part range. Both products also contain selenium, so they meet the conditions of the "Animal Welfare Support for Small Ruminants" scheme and are also eligible for aid. Selenium is essential for maintaining proper reproductive performance, proper thyroid function and adequate protection of cells against oxidative damage. The selenium content of plants depends on the selenium content of the soil and the species of plant, but Hungarian soils are generally deficient in selenium, so this micro-nutrient needs to be supplemented with forage.

Millaphos Lick ATG Spezial is the 'red-capped' molasses-based lick for the growing season. This lollipop bucket, specially developed for the Hungarian market, supports estrus thanks to its beta-carotene content. Its beta-carotene content supports the proper functioning of the corpus luteum and helps the fertilised egg to implant. The vitamin A content ensures that beta-carotene has a positive effect by counteracting the processes caused by vitamin deficiencies. Similar to Millaphos Leckschale ATG, it contains organically bound (Aminotrace) zinc and manganese. It is recommended to be given to animals for 2-3 weeks before and after insemination. It should also be made available to rams and bucks in addition to dams.
