The Transylvanian Bald-necked Hen: an old Hungarian breed, registered from 1875, with a hardened body, winter laying, disease resistant, muscular, tasty meat, easy to raise silage breed.
Rooster: 2,5-3 kg, laying hen: 2,0-2,3 kg
Our birds are part of a gene conservation programme, are of certified pedigree, are kept in extensive housing and are reared without medication except for compulsory basic vaccination.
Test result for fowl distemper: negative
From 10 to 500 eggs can be sent at a time.
Fresh hemp-kerneled Transylvanian bald-necked hen eggs will be included in the package.
