Cell Potash - a nature-identical form of potassium that helps to replenish essential potassium in all physiological processes. It has a complex physiological effect, with positive effects on photosynthesis, water and energy balance, crop quality, disease resistance, stress tolerance and frost tolerance. Especially in the generative phase, potassium is highly demanded, so foliar application can be started before flowering and is recommended several times until the ripening period, and can be combined with crop protection treatments.
Cell Potash is a nature-identical form of organic potassium that is produced by the plant itself. Cell Potash has a positive effect on photosynthesis and the flow of substances in the plant. It plays a fundamental role in determining the osmotic potential of cells, the turgor of plant cells and tissues, and influences water management. It greatly improves the efficiency of water use by plants. Increases active water uptake by roots, reduces evaporation intensity. Increases crop safety (disease resistance, water balance, reduction of risk of tillering, frost tolerance). The regulation of disease resistance is linked to the property of Cell Kali to promote the development of thicker epidermis cell walls.
Cell Potash moves rapidly in tissues and mobilises potassium bound in older tissues and some of the calcium bound in oxalate form, allowing calcium to be transported to the crop. It is typical that potassium uptake is more intense in the second half of the growing season, with the highest amount in the biological crop. The maximum uptake is usually at the beginning of the ripening period or during the ripening period. From the point of view of potassium supply, the best levels should be reached during this period to achieve the best quality, transportability and storability of the crop. Therefore, Cell Potash should be applied when immature but almost fully developed crops are reached, for continuous maturing crops treatments should be started from the first crop setting and applied every 7-10 days until the end of the harvest!
Unlike other products, the recommended dosage of Cell Potash does not cause ion antagonism (Ca, Mg), which guarantees the avoidance of storage diseases and good keeping quality (e.g. bitter spotting of apples), with good colouring!
