Description
To the expert eye, the leaves of the NÖVÉNY will tell you early on what nutrient deficiency the plant is suffering from. By correcting mineral deficiencies early, the plant can be prevented from deteriorating completely and, in the case of our flowering plants, from becoming stunted. Correct, judicious nutrient supplementation will result in abundant, tasty, healthy crops, and will make ornamental foliage and ornamental fruit an attractive feature of the garden.

Nutrients, sugars and plant-nourishing assimilates are transported by the plant's sap circulation mainly to the shoots and young leaves. The lack of elements that move slowly and with difficulty in the plant is therefore first reflected mainly in the youngest leaf levels (Iron, Manganese, Sulphur, Molybdenum, Copper, Boron, Calcium). These leaves are still primarily concerned with the structure of their own body, so careful analysis of these leaf levels will help us to determine what intervention is needed to ensure that our plants remain balanced and well conditioned, and are able to provide sufficient nutrition for their flowers, fruit and ornamental elements.

However, deficiencies of nutrients that are well mobilised in the sap of the plant are first visible on the older leaves (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Zinc). Since it is the older leaves that first and foremost nourish and energise the developmental processes of the plant, we must pay particular attention to their nutrient supply.
