Description
FERTICUS 380 is the result of Manica's formulation experience.
It contains 380 g/l of copper metal in the form of oxychloride, a salt that guarantees perfect stability and mixability with pesticides and foliar fertilizers containing micro-nutrients.
It is a highly micronised product, with homogeneous copper particles of approximately 1 micron.
Its concentration guarantees a very wide range of applications.
It is also ideal for use in small gardens, as it is easy to dose and can be easily applied with a backpack sprayer (without a mixer).
Copper is one of the most important essential trace elements for plants, animals and humans. In plants, copper plays a crucial role in protein and photosynthesis, stem consolidation, flower particle development and pollen fertility, mainly through ensuring the function of enzymes. It is no coincidence that about 70 percent of the copper in plants is found in young leaves with active metabolism. Therefore, the application of copper can increase yields and improve the nutritional value, e.g. chicory and crude protein content in the case of cereals.
The great advantage of foliar feeding, incorporated in crop protection technology, is that properly formulated nutrients applied to the leaves are rapidly absorbed - the utilisation of micro-nutrients is better through the leaf, as they are easily fixed in the soil - and the replenishment of many micro-nutrients, including copper, can be fully achieved through the leaf.
