The most phosphorus sensitive period of plants is first rooting, then flowering and setting. In most cases, the supply of phosphorus to soils is not in harmony with plant needs; under unfavourable soil conditions, the supply is immediately and drastically reduced from the soil, stressing the plant, weakening it and reducing its tolerance to environmental stresses. With NutriForce Basic phosphorus foliar fertilizer, even in soils with lower phosphorus supply, the extra phosphorus requirements of flowering can be provided effectively and immediately. The development of visible symptoms of phosphorus deficiency can be prevented and the resulting stress and yield losses avoided. NutriForce Basic foliar fertilizer is also a nitrogenous top dressing; the extremely high water-soluble phosphorus content promotes better nitrogen uptake. The high sulphur content promotes the formation of proteins and, in oilseed crops, better oil composition.
