Sulstar Zinc Boron - custom formulated suspension foliar fertilizer. Its zinc content is beneficial for early life processes, including root formation, and boron is an essential micro-nutrient for fruit formation. The special chemical bonding of boron makes it suitable for direct application at the site of action, thus avoiding deficiency symptoms. The high sulphur content allows the synthesis of sulphur-demanding proteins and the harmonious development of crops that require it (e.g. rape, sunflower). The combination of zinc, boron and sulphur provides a supplementary foliar fertilizer for plants which, thanks to its efficient absorption, helps the synthesis and protection of the plant from root formation to harvest, thus ensuring a safe yield and improving quantity and quality; it can also be combined with crop protection treatments.
SulStar Zinc Boron is a liquid suspension fertilizer developed for crops with high sulphur and boron demand (cereals, oilseeds, sugar beet, vegetables) with the addition of the micro-nutrient zinc, which, according to literature and practical experience, has a very positive effect on the early life cycle of plants (e.g. As an essential microelement, boron is involved in the development of the plant shoot apices, carbohydrate metabolism, nitrogen and phosphorus metabolism, amino acid and protein synthesis. In plant tissues, this element moves very slowly and its deficiency is therefore mainly manifested in the destruction of shoot and root apices. During the period of fertilisation, plant germination increases, as its role in the formation of germ tubes is crucial. It is therefore important that the plants receive the appropriate amount of boron in good time, before shoot formation and fertilisation, by foliar application, so that it is efficiently delivered directly to the place of intensive use. The combined application of boron and zinc has an extremely beneficial effect on protein synthesis, plant energy processes, carbohydrate, vitamin and plant hormone synthesis. Together, the two microelements increase the plants' tolerance to cold, their resistance to diseases and have a positive effect on water turnover. It improves flower fertilisation, fruit setting and seed formation. Sulphur plays an essential role in the biosynthesis of proteins, as it is a building block of some vital amino acids. In its absence, plant development slows down and fruit setting problems occur. In autumn oilseed rape, sulphur deficiency can cause yield losses of up to 30%. With an adequate supply of sulphur, these deficiencies can be prevented and, in the case of cereals grown for grain, baking values can be improved.
SulStar Zinc Boron is effectively absorbed through the leaf by its additives and is rapidly transported through the plant tissues by its active ingredients.
