Description
For soil fertilization in high doses. Its sugars, amino acids and vitamins enhance soil biological activity, stem residue decomposition, nitrogen fixation and phosphorus mobilisation.
It can be used in combination with other nutrients (nitrogen, sulphur, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, etc.), even in low and medium doses for sowing and intercropping.
For foliar fertilisation, either alone (e.g. in organic production) or mixed with other nutrients, as a traction enhancer, for stress tolerance. Vinasse can also be applied without dilution. It can be mixed with pesticides, foliar fertilizers, nitrogen solution.
Vinasse is a brownish substance with a characteristic odour and a slightly acidic chemistry, the components of which are
- dry matter content: 40 % by weight
- crude protein content: 25-30 % by weight
- inorganic matter: approximately 50 % by weight
- organic matter: approximately 50 % by weight
The pH of the vinasse varies in the range 5.9-5.4. The N content is around 4,0 % by m The high N content allows it to provide a favourable source of nitrogen for the plant. Among its nitrogen-containing compounds, amino acids are present in significant amounts. Most of these amino acids contain metals in complex form. They are therefore an excellent plant nutrient, and aspartic acid and glutamic acid are present in high amounts.
