Description
Bacteriolite concentrate is recommended for accelerating the composting of manure, slurry and garden green compost.
The active ingredient is a compost mixture containing, according to the latest complete genetic study, about 28,000 species of micro-organisms, mainly fungi, bacteria and algae, which work in harmony with each other. It is a natural compost-based fertiliser and compost treatment agent in powder form.
Bacteriolite concentrate reduces aerial leaching and leaching losses of manure. It improves the saleability of manure produced on the farm. Reduces the formation of bark in the slurry storage. Activates rapid humification of organic and slurry fertilisers, thus improving their nutritional value. This allows plants to receive a more balanced supply of nutrients over a longer period. It allows to avoid the use of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, to avoid liming of the soil and to reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizers. Increases the humus content of the soil, improves soil structure, nutrient and water management. In Pusztaszabolcs, ZRt. has been treating organic fertiliser with Bacteriolite for 12 years, and soil tests have shown the changes in the soil that this has brought about.
Technology:
- Apply to manure, slurry, fermentum, compost at a dose of 1 kg/m³.
- By applying the treated manure, compost, to the soil, the soil is also inoculated with the microorganisms in the Bacteriolite concentrate. The soil structure is thus improved, and the microscopic fungi in Bacteriolite help to convert organic matter into active humus.
- Application rate of the treated fertiliser: in arable crops, normally 30 kg/ha in the first year, applied with 20 tonnes of treated organic manure.
- From the second year onwards, depending on production conditions, this quantity may be reduced to 15 kg Bacteriol/ha. In other words, the amount of treated manure applied can be reduced up to 10-15 tonnes.
- The best time for application is in autumn and spring when soil temperatures are consistently above 8 °C and when there is sufficient moisture (at least dew). In favourable conditions, it is not necessary to apply the treated manure immediately.
- Ensure that the treated manure is only shallowly incorporated into the soil.
- Phosphorus and potassium are not needed in the treated area and nitrogen can be gradually reduced over a period of years.
- Allow at least two weeks between any chemical treatment and the application of Bacteriolite.
