Description
A volcanic ash deposit of riolitic tuff, which has a high micro- and macroelement content and an advantageous structure. By mixing it into the soil, its ion exchange capacity reduces soil acidity and, due to its particle size, soil binding. It improves the ion exchange capacity and trace element supply of acid and saline soils and sandy soils.

Its structure allows it to retain up to 20-25% of water by volume, which is advantageous in times of drought and wetland conditions. Riolite tufa therefore makes the soil more evenly distributed in terms of water management.

Our Melior+ product, with a particle size of 0-5, is designed to improve the mineral content of home gardens and potting soil.

Our Absorb+ is a 2-5 particle size product with good water retention, which is suitable for soils prone to drying out and increases their mineral content.

Our Dekor+ product has a particle size of 5-12 grains and is particularly suitable for decorative purposes due to its size. It can be used in balcony boxes, in small gardens and around plants to reduce weed growth and slow evaporation.

All our products are NÉBIH-approved and certified organic and can therefore be used in organic farming.

The use of riolite tufa improves soil life and allows healthier crops to be grown. It can increase yields by up to 5-10%. It is easy to apply, either with a fertiliser spreader or with a fertiliser spreader with a spinner. It can be applied at any time when there is no plant cover or when the conditions for mixing into the soil are right. Application can be made by disc, combiner and other mixing implements up to a layer of 20-25 cm of soil.

If the correct dosage is used, a 5 to 8 year durability can be achieved.

Among its other applications, it is worth mentioning that it can be used effectively for animal waste treatment, organic manure treatment, water treatment, composting, as bedding material spread on the ground, as a carrier material for landscaping, pesticide and fertiliser production.

There can be no doubt about the usefulness of the valuable Bodrogkeresztur riolite tufa. Its high content of calcium, potassium, zinc, iron and magnesium can meet all the needs of vegetation, so that no other source is needed. Increased photosynthesis leads to greater carbon dioxide assimilation, which in turn results in the formation of more sugar phosphate, which can lead to better yields.
