Description
In our country, the increase in the number of big game is causing unmanageable problems in some areas of agriculture, forestry and fruit growing. According to experts, the annual paid game damage, estimated at between two and three billion forints, is only a fraction of the actual damage. The urgency of the problem is illustrated by the fact that last year the National Chamber of Agriculture set up an economic company to speed up and simplify wildlife damage cases. It remains to be seen how effective the help they provide will be.

Our Game Repellent PRO game repellent is the fruit of almost seven years of development and research, which, during the trials in the NÉBIH approval process, has produced outstanding results, both in comparison with control areas and with other chemicals on the market! A liquid, water-soluble concentrate that effectively repels both small and large game from treated crops. Its dual mode of action consists of a primary taste sensation and an associated olfactory experience. The product has a deterrent effect by its unpleasant taste and chewing properties during the first attempt, which subsequently leads to a deterrent effect based on the associated odour.

Game Repellent PRO can be used on any arable crop, mainly sunflower, maize and rape. The product should be applied as a preventive measure to protect green shoots of arable crops during the growing season by foliar spraying at a rate of 0,5 litres per hectare diluted with 100 litres of water.

Timing of application: from 2-4 leaf stage until flowering, every 14-21 days, up to 3 applications.

For large fields (over 20 ha), a border treatment is also an option, applied at a minimum width of 20 m.

Its simple and effective use will certainly be appreciated by users/farmers in their fields.

Experience has shown that two treatments are sufficient, but a third treatment may be necessary if weather conditions are unfavourable!

Game Repellent PRO should not be used in flower! Not dangerous for bees! Treatment must be completed three weeks before harvest!

Game Repellent PRO contains an adhesion-enhancing wetting adjuvant alone, but its effectiveness can be increased by adding adjuvants which, after spraying, increase the rain resistance of the product and reduce the risk of wash-off.

Application should always be carried out in dry weather. Spraying should be carried out on frost-free days in late autumn/early winter and in the morning or evening (below 25 °C) for spring/summer applications.

Although the product has been developed with the primary aim of reducing damage from rabbits and deer, several positive results have been obtained in trials!

Damaging game species: hares, deer
Crops damaged: sunflower, maize, maize legumes
Treatment: mix 0.5 litre of Game Repellent PRO with 100 litres of water every 14-21 days from 2 to 4 leaf stage.
In sunflower at the sessile stage: dilution of 0,3 litre of Game Repellent PRO with 80 litres of water is recommended, followed by a second treatment at the second application at the normal dose (0,5 litre of Game Repellent PRO in 100 litres of water) when the crop is again in the sessile stage, but not later than 2-4 leaves, in which case a third treatment may be necessary depending on the growth of the crop.

Target species: cervids (roe deer, fallow deer)
Crops damaged: sunflower, maize, maize, oilseed rape
Treatment: 0,5 litre of Game Repellent PRO mixed with 100 litres of water every 14-21 days from 2-4 leaf stage.
In sunflower up to star bud stage: applied by slow spray with 0,5 litre of Game Repellent PRO diluted with 80 litres of water.
