Description
Growth and yield
- A fast-growing variety with excellent fruiting capacity.
- Yields 40-100% more wood than other willow varieties.
- Long growing season, which gives extra wood yield.

Growing conditions
- Wide site adaptability.
- More drought tolerant than traditional willows.
- Excellent in wet, inland soils.

Use
- Firewood: uncleaved or split.
- Wood chips, wood by-products: well briquettable, pelletisable.
- Also suitable as firewood forest: high yield, burns well after six months of drying.
- Can be cut every 3-4 years if the soil is of good quality.
- Can also be planted for industrial timber: fast, straight growth, dense wood.
- In many cases it can replace expensive pine building timber.

Propagation and planting
- Sold as 20-30 cm cuttings (other sizes available on request).
- Planting period: autumn or spring.
- Number of plants: usually 2 to 3,000 per hectare (depending on soil and target selection).
- Cutting cycle: 4-6 years.
