Carpinus betulus (Common hornbeam): 50-100 cm, free-rooted, 1590 Ft + VAT/each

Characteristics:
Deciduous tree that can grow to 15-20 m tall.
It prefers a sunny location. It has characteristic saw-toothed leaves which turn a beautiful yellow in autumn.
Its fruit is a drop-shaped acorn which develops at the base of a three-armed, candle-flame-shaped, flying ovary. Its wood is used for tools and firewood.
It also makes an excellent ornamental tree and tall hedge.
