- Early fungicide treatment is recommended against septoria and fusarium.
- Monitoring of the leaves is recommended to avoid brown rust infestation.

Growth regulator
- The use of a growth regulator is recommended in case of dense sowing.
- Obiwan is very resistant to lodging.

Sowing time/seeding rate
- Moderately tolerant to late sowing.
- Sowing rate: 190-210 kg/ha.
