Description
The mixture is recommended for use in silty soils, river/stream valleys, hilly valleys, areas with early morning dew and low-lying areas with high groundwater. Horse pastures are subject to high stress due to the intensive movement of the animals. The proportion of understorey grasses that tolerate trampling is 40%, but the fibre grasses are also strongly rooted, partly taracked species. They give high yields and allow the production of meadow hay. The pasture is long-lived when grazed in staggered rotation.
