Meet GLORIETT (FAO 390-410), one of the hybrids in our G-Seed private label maize portfolio with intensive water release and excellent drought tolerance. It has a great yield potential: for example, it produced an amazing yield of 15.88 t/ha in Mesterháza! At Kaba it yielded 13.9 t/ha, at Egervar 12.68 t/ha, at Pača 11.35 t/ha and at Szabadszentkirály 10.72 t/ha - all with a grain moisture content of 14.5%!

"I first encountered the G-SEED maize portfolio at the end of 2022, and in spring 2023, on the basis of a recommendation from the RWA regional representative, I tried the maize hybrid G-SEED Gloriett (FAO 390) on 30 ha. Sowing was delayed until the second half of April, at a rate of 75,000 seeds/ha. The emergence was uniform and vigorous, with a good stand even with the reduced amount of fertiliser compared to previous years. The pre-crop in this area was winter wheat, harvested at an average of 7.5 tonnes/ha. Gloriett has made excellent use of the limited nutrients available, with strong stems and good plant stability. I would be happy to recommend it to my fellow farmers who are considering a maturity date close to 400 FAO, even with limited fertiliser technology."
