Description
Features:
- One of the most widely grown triticale in Hungary for many years.
- It is a demanding variety with outstanding yields.
- It has a good grain quality and can be used for both food and feed.
- Its high vegetative yields and rich foliage make it suitable for use in silage mixtures.
- Yield under average conditions: 6.0-10.0 t/ha.
- Height 95-110 cm.
- Good stamina, less prone to toppling.
- Good bush vigour.
- Due to its alternative nature, its initial development is rapid in milder winters, which can be damaged by heavy frosts without later snow cover.
- Sowing time: early sowing should be avoided, late sowing in the second half of October is recommended, but it can also be sown in November.
- Seed rate: 260-300 kg/ha, recommended sowing depth: 4-5 cm.
- Fusarium resistance is good, but it is a poor pre-sowing crop and should be protected in case of plague-prone weather.
