Description
Prescribed crop protection technology:
The preparation should not be used above 25 °C to avoid possible scorching!
In cereals (winter and spring wheat, winter and spring barley, rye, oats, triticale), millet and pohanka, one to three applications are necessary depending on the degree of infestation. Spraying should be carried out on a preventive basis, based on forecasts, but at the latest at the first symptoms - end of tillering, beginning of emergence - and repeated if necessary at the time of ear-flowering.
In grapes (wine, table), treatments against powdery mildew should be started preventively based on a forecast and repeated as necessary every 7 to 10 days depending on the development of the infection. Lower doses are recommended in warmer, drier weather, higher doses and shorter (7-day) spray cycles are recommended in cases of severe risk of infection. In the intensive development phase of the vine, the product can be used as a contact adjuvant to absorbents.
In apple crops (apples, pears, quince, naspolya), spraying should be started at mouse-ear stage and repeated every 7-14 days depending on the infection pressure.
In stone fruit (cherries, sour cherries, plums, peaches, apricots), spraying may be started from the first leaf emergence and should be repeated every 7-10 days, depending on the infection pressure.
In berry crops (cassis, red and blackcurrants, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, elderberries, elderberries, blueberries, rosehips), control should be applied 1-2 times after bud break, before flowering, to block primary symptoms of powdery mildew, using the higher dose. For the rest of the growing season, choose the dose depending on the severity of the infection.
In sugar beet, treatment against powdery mildew should be carried out at the onset of infection and repeated three times if there is a risk of infection.
In lentils, chickpeas and broad beans, spraying should be preventive and should be started at the latest at the first symptoms and repeated if necessary after 10 to 14 days.
In authorised vegetables, herbs and spices, hazelnuts, groundnuts, hemp, oil radishes and ornamental trees and shrubs in public ornamental areas, treatment should be carried out at the onset of infestation and may be repeated several times depending on the extent of the infestation. When applying the product, the sulphur sensitivity of certain plant species should be taken into account.
The product may only be applied in public areas under the supervision of a person with a higher plant protection qualification and a valid authorisation. When used in public areas, the public concerned shall be informed of the treatment in the usual local way and shall be made aware of the public health requirements associated with the treatment. It is prohibited to stay in freshly treated sprayed areas.
The product is also suitable for the control of mites in authorised vine, apple, stone fruit and cucurbits crops.
Sulphur is the active substance of a multi-site contact fungicide (FRAC code M 2).
Aerial application: not authorised.
