Description
We are looking for a long-term colleague to join our family farm. Our family has been farming since 2001 in Kisorossi (Pest county, Danube bend). Our animal husbandry is based on mechanised feeding, littering and material handling. Fattened animals are slaughtered in our own plant and sold directly to the retail trade. In addition, we have a few milking cows and a variable number of pigs.

Job description:
- Participation in mechanical work in animal husbandry, participation in milking
- active participation in feeding, selection, handling, stocktaking, vaccination, etc.
- Participation in field work related to forage
- general maintenance, upkeep and professional use of machinery
- participating in crop production work cycles (harvesting, sowing)
- basic maintenance of the site infrastructure
- maintaining the livestock buildings on the holding

What we expect:
- Category B driving licence
- experience working with cattle (not other animals, cattle)
- knowledge of the professional use of agricultural machinery
- ability to work under pressure, active, hard-working, flexible attitude
- knowledge and acceptance of the seasonal nature of farming
- positive and humane attitude towards animals
- be respectful of the environment, your work and yourself
- no criminal record

An advantage, but not an absolute requirement:
- a degree in agriculture with specialisation in animal nutrition
- specialised veterinary/inspection/other animal husbandry related professional qualifications
- category T or C+E driving licence

- experience in crop production
- Qualification as a mechanic
- Experience in welding, locksmithing, basic construction (semi-roofing, concrete, etc.), possibly with a degree
- machine operator's papers
- young age
- any experience in the meat industry
