Description
We are looking for a long-term colleague to join our family farm. Our family has been farming since 2001 in Kisorossi (Pest county, Danube bend). The machinery on our farm consists of modern machines suitable for precision farming (John Deere, Dammann, JCB, Bobcat, Vaderstad, Horsch, Monosem, Rauch, etc.) and our work approach is adapted to this. Our animal husbandry is mechanised feeding, bedding and material handling. We slaughter the fattened animals in our own plant and sell them directly to the retail trade.

Job description:
- involvement in mechanical work in crop and livestock production
- general maintenance, upkeep and professional use of machinery
- basic servicing of machinery
- assisting with livestock production work (selection, grafting, stocktaking, weighing, etc.)
- carrying out basic maintenance of the site infrastructure

What we expect:
- Driving licence category T or C+E (category B also required)
- experience in the operation of agricultural machinery
- knowledge of professional maintenance of agricultural machinery, basic servicing
- ability to work under pressure, active, hard-working and flexible
- knowledge and acceptance of the seasonal nature of farming
- positive and humane attitude towards animals
- ability to work with livestock colleagues
- be respectful of the environment, your work and yourself
- no criminal record

An advantage but not an absolute requirement:
- a degree in agriculture
- Experience working with John Deere machines
- Operational experience on a Dammann self-propelled sprayer (or similar machine)
- experience on a combine harvester
- practical experience with cattle
- mechanic's qualification
- experience in welding, locksmithing, basic construction (semi-roofing, concreting, etc.), possibly with a degree
- green book on spraying
- machine operator's papers
- experience in precision farming
- young age
- any experience in the meat industry
