More and more solar innovations are appearing in the world. As the efficiency of solar panels increases, the technology can be applied in many new areas. This is the direction taken by the German-based company Fothermo, which has developed a solar water heater that can be operated directly by solar panels, without emissions, and can thus produce domestic hot water cheaply and independently of the grid.

The system is easy to install as it can be connected to the solar panels using a standard MC4 connector, but detailed instructions will help you set it up if necessary.

The uniqueness of the product lies in its ability to produce hot water in the absence of mains power and, as it is emission-free, it is environmentally friendly.

In addition to operation with solar panels, it can also be operated from a power supply for long periods in bad weather or in winter when there is little or no solar yield. As soon as the water in the boiler falls below the set minimum temperature, the water is automatically reheated by the power supply. If solar energy is available at the same time, it is always preferred to keep costs as low as possible. The set minimum temperature will always provide hot water.

The smallest boiler is available from 100.000 Ft. The 300 litre version with solar panels and other accessories costs 1.361.000 Ft + VAT.
