Maschio Gaspardo Veloce seedbed maker

The VELOCE is a lightweight disc harrow for shallow seedbed preparation (up to 10 cm). The discs are arranged in 2 rows in opposite disc directions; the wide spacing between the rows (800 mm) prevents clogging of soil and crop residues. Each disc has its own independent hub, lubricated in oil seal, with insulated, long-life bearings; maintenance time is minimal. The elements are connected to the frame by a silent block system with 4 rubber dampers that absorb all vertical stresses and do not require repeated greasing as alternative systems do.

SANDOKAN MASCHIO GASPARDO

Spring tine seedbed cultivator. Designed to work at shallow depths, finish the seedbed and remove weeds before sowing. The 4-6 m wide SANDOKAN can be paired with tractors from 120-190 hp.
Powerful and precise
The SANDOKAN consists of a fixed central section - consisting of the frame, drawbar and traction wheels - and two side sections that can be folded in for road transport.
In the semi-suspended folding version, SANDOKAN has a main frame to which the modules carrying the tools are attached. This solution is designed to allow easy interchangeability of tools to meet changing work and agronomic requirements.
The tools consist of gamma teeth - arranged in 4 rows - or delta teeth, arranged in 2 rows. The straight profile and narrow-tipped gamma teeth are less aggressive on the soil, loosening the surface crust without excessive mixing to retain soil moisture. Delta tines with a curved profile and wide tip are suitable for working on a variety of soil types, are more aggressive and also prove effective at removing weeds.
There is a levelling bar at the front to break up larger clods and large debris, followed by a cage roller to further break up clods and level the soil.
After the tools, there is a twin row crosskill roller that aggressively works on the remaining clods and a levelling bar for final levelling.
A fine layer of topsoil
Fine soil is created by the vibration of the spring tines, which have a wide range of motion provided by a silent block damping system connecting the top and bottom frames. The spring tines work in conjunction with the front and rear crosskill rollers, which minimize clumping in the soil and create a horizontally spread soil in preparation for seeding.
Safe transport
Four heavy-duty hydraulic rollers quickly fold the frame for easy transport in widths of just 3 metres. Safe road transport is ensured by a rear trolley with optional braking system, in compliance with the European Road Traffic Code.
