Description
The winery and wine-processing plant is located in the World Heritage area, in the vicinity of the Bodrog River, in the village of Szegi, in the Tokaj-Hegyalján, at 146, 3918 Szegi, Alkotmány u. 2. The area of 15 954 m² is fully fenced, accessible from the asphalt road 100 m from the main road No 37, with two entrances. The railway is 1,5 km away.
The site is landscaped, the internal roads are dust-free, and the drainage and storm water system is complete. The area is supplied with mains water, mains gas and industrial electricity 3x45 A. A 25 m deep dug well with drinking water quality is also available, 8 m³ per day.
On the property there is a processing plant, a dairy, a warehouse, a wine shop, a guest house and an office building.
The winery does not include vineyards and the machinery and equipment are mainly used for grape picking and wine making.
The processing machinery is flexible and can be used as bottling or storage for 11 months after processing, occupying 30% of the processing area after harvest.
The floor of the processing and maceration area is acid and alkali resistant, and the waste water is drained in an electro-polishing sewer system. The storage capacity can be expanded and continuous operation is ensured by the closed-loop drainage of must gas. All machinery and equipment is stainless steel.
Press house: 1000 plastic harvesting crates, 5 m³ RM receiving hopper with digital weighing scale (gross, net, tare weight on weighing slip separately), LUGANA 3R berry crusher, EIPOMPA 200/7 mash pump, 1 RM PUFFER-CRUSHING vat with 120 hl mash capacity (GR.Inox, Grape Hopper tip.), 1 Vaslin CEP 420 inclined grape press, 2 RM conveyor belts with cross-ribbed treads for the delivery of stalk and pomace, 1 RM frame filter for high performance broom filtration, 1 RM must filter calibrated for the 20 hl vat, plastic vats, tools for processing. The equipment is in mint condition, adapted to the reductive grape processing technology. The ideal configuration of the equipment means that two persons (winemaker, assistant) are sufficient for daily processing of the grapes, even to achieve the maximum hygiene level.
Storage line: 8 125 hl RM tanks for controlled fermentation with colouring stub, 2 60 hl RM tanks for controlled fermentation with colouring stub, 2 60 hl RM tanks, 2 5 hl RM tanks, CIP washing of tanks is possible, 1 VINOBI 50 rubber pump with hose, 1 pump CS-101 with hose (refurbished, as new condition), 1 pump SPADONI 2 m² diatomaceous earth filter with accessories, 1 pump EBARA 2CDHM RM, 1 pump EBARA JES M8 RM, 1 pump Rover Pompe, 9 metal hut for bottled wine, wooden barrels, max. 4 years old.
Serving tank cooling: 2 BOCK type high capacity compressors, 2 10 hl RM coolant buffers as part of the cooling circuit.
Storage capacity 122 hl, expandable to 1800 hl.
Further development and conversion of the property is possible, subject to the possibility of applying for EU grants (excavated cellar system based on 400 hl barrel capacity based on existing approved plans, production of grape juice and concentrate, construction of a bottling plant, for which space is available in the hall building). In 2008, the winery signed a cooperation agreement with a wine-making college in France, which will provide the market with theoretical and practical experience of a new type of Tokaji. The company has no public debts, no credit, no unpaid invoices and no outstanding debts.
Shipping and water tourism on the Bodrog river have been developed, and a water base has been created near the winery, creating the potential for wine tourism. The winery has carried out a HUF 250 m development under a SAPARD grant in 2004. In 2013, the winery's 6-puttonyos aszú won the Grand Champion prize at the Vinagora competition.
