It is a row of farms, which means there are neighbours, inhabited place, it is like a village street, you can see it in the satellite photos. One was a former church school of 175 sqm, the other a small noble mansion of 140 sqm. Another building of about 200 sqm is shown on the Land Registry map, which is no longer there in reality, so it could be rebuilt if someone is not satisfied with the existing 300 sqm building. Huge, spacious landscaped yard, the two buildings are 50 m apart, with a woodland strip around, which is mature acacia, worth about 7 million calculated as firewood. Exterior renovation is finished, 30 tons of concrete in the plinth, 4 meters high ceilings (nonsense that it is more expensive to heat, because it increases the mass of the walls, which retain heat), 80 cm thick walls! If someone doesn't like the high ceilings, there's about 90 sqm of service flat in there, which is normal height. The windows are cassette windows, double-glazed in red pine, copper handles, solid pine doors (windows need to be sanded and painted, and I bought the 2.5 m high insulated cassette windows for the other building, they just need to be put in). Bathrooms are not finished but are in use, need to be tiled and painted inside. So interior renovation is not done, I leave it to the taste of the new owner. It was built on fill, so it has perpetual dry walls, great for a family of 4 or for entertaining, dark brown sandy area ideal for horse stables. Normal neighbours, national park 1 km, no minority owns property in the area, possibly due to the vineyards you see Romanian seasonal workers sometimes... There is only one brown-skinned family living there, well-to-do Romanian market vendors who only sleep there in the evenings, are on the road all day, and have only been renting that farm for about 15 years. The region is not gypsyized, and real estate in the surrounding towns is very expensive. The village of Páhi is 3 km away and has a school, kindergarten, post office, bank, doctor, shops. Kecskemét 35 km, Izsák 6 km, kiskőrös thermal spa 15 km. Kiskunság National Park 1 km, excellent riding and hiking terrain, nature trails. New asphalt all along the access road. No through traffic, bag settlement. Maybe I took too good photos, but the renovation is not finished, there is a lot of work to do, as I wrote, the windows need sanding, painting, but not replacing. But it's habitable now, if someone wants to move in ready I'll finish the work, but it won't be a third of the price as it is now. At the moment you can buy a house in the region for half that for 60 million. Especially since the forint has gone bust... I'm counting apartments in big cities, county seats, capital.
