✍️ For many years, the Young Farmer scheme has been the most sought-after support for agricultural applications. The main objective is to support young farmers and to slow down and stop the ageing process in agriculture.

❗The main advantage of the Young Farmer Grant is that part of the grant, HUF 14.6 million, can be used freely. In addition, almost all agricultural activities are eligible, such as livestock and horticultural improvements, tractor purchases, improvements to crop cleaners, crop dryers and storage facilities, and the planting of new plantations.

✅ Who can apply?
Young farmers, natural or legal persons who meet the following conditions may apply for support:
✅ Over 18 years of age but under 40 years of age,
✅ have a nationally recognised or accredited agricultural qualification - or equivalent professional experience,
✅ has been managing an agricultural holding for not more than 5 years / has been farming for not more than 5 years from the date of submission of the aid application,
✅ has an agricultural holding with a value of between EUR 10 000 and EUR 50 000 GGE.

✅ Nature and amount of the aid:
The total budget of the application is HUF 79 billion. The total amount of non-refundable aid available is up to HUF 89,6 million, of which HUF 14,6 million is entirely discretionary. The aid intensity is between 70 % and 100 %.
