✅ The CAP Strategic Plan also includes precision farming as a priority, with a call for proposals for the implementation of improvements related to the digital switchover of farms. It aims to bring digital technologies, site-specific farming practices, precision tools, decision support software and services to as many farmers as possible. This will also improve operational results, the amount of inputs used and the pressure on surface and groundwater.

✅ Farmers can apply for support if they have completed a full closed business year preceding the year in which they apply for support (or, if they do not have data on this, the year before):
➖ have a holding size of at least EUR 10 000 LU
➖ at least 40 % of their turnover derives from agricultural activity

✅ Nature and amount of the aid
The maximum amount of aid is EUR 1 million per project. For small investments the average individual amount is roughly EUR 137 000 per project and for large investments roughly EUR 685 000 per project. The aid intensity is 50-80%.
