✅ The ornamental horticulture competition has been long awaited by the sector! The ornamental horticulture sector is characterised by a high production value per unit area and a high number of people employed per unit area. The majority of production takes place in rural areas, while the demand for services is typically concentrated in larger municipalities. In order to improve competitiveness, aid may be granted for the construction, development, extension, renovation of buildings and facilities for ornamental plant production, trade or green space management, and for the purchase of new machinery, equipment and technology.

✅ Micro and small enterprises in Hungary may apply for aid if, in the last full financial year preceding the submission of the application for aid (or, if no such data are available, the last full financial year preceding the submission of the application)
➖ has a net turnover of less than 40% in agriculture or less than 50% in forestry,
➖ has its head office/establishment/branch in a rural area at the time of the aid application and this is also the place where the operation is to be carried out,
➖ is active in the production of ornamental plants, trade or management of green areas, and its activities have included at least one of the following during at least 2 complete and closed financial years preceding the submission of the application:
TEÁOR'08 8130 - management of green areas,
TEÁOR'08 4776 - Retail sale of ornamental plants,
TEÁOR'08 4622 - wholesale of ornamental plants,
ÖVTJ'24 8130 - green area management,
ÖVTJ'24 4622 - Wholesale of ornamental plants,
ÖVTJ'24 4776 - retail sale of ornamental plants, seeds, fertilizers and pet food in specialised stores.

✅ Nature and amount of the aid
Up to HUF 36,5 million in non-repayable aid may be applied for, depending on the turnover of the enterprise. The aid intensity is 30-65%, which may be increased. An advance may also be requested up to a maximum of 25% of the amount of aid granted.
