✅ Modernising horticulture remains a priority in the CAP Strategic Plan. The use of modern cultivation technologies, machinery and equipment will increase the income security of horticultural farms and improve the quantity and quality of domestic horticultural products. The aim of the support for the technological improvement of horticultural holdings (CAP-RD01a-1-25) is to provide environmentally friendly, energy-saving machinery so that producers can meet market and climate challenges and make more efficient use of our natural resources.

✅ Aid is available to farmers who have been active in the entire closed accounting year preceding (or, if they do not have the relevant data, the preceding) the year in which the aid application is submitted:
➖ have a farm size of at least EUR 10,000 LU and at least 50% of their farm size comes from horticultural activities
➖ at least 40% of their turnover was derived from agricultural activities

For undertakings carrying out an integrating or processing activity related to the cultivation of medicinal plants, the criterion is that the turnover from the production of medicinal plant products in the whole of the financial year preceding the submission of the aid application exceeds at least 40% of their total turnover and that they carry out their activity with the assistance of at least 3 partners with production and/or purchase contracts.

✅ Nature and amount of the aid
Up to HUF 35 million in non-repayable aid, with an aid intensity of between 50 % and 65 %.
