You are welcome to Hungary's first micropropagation workshop, where you will learn the exact process of micropropagation, we will prepare a culture medium together and at the end we will acclimatize a sterile culture with a rare tropical plant of your choice!

What is the workshop about?
Micropropagation is a specialised plant propagation procedure carried out under laboratory conditions in a sterile environment. It is widely used for rare, valuable or difficult to propagate plants such as orchids, fruit trees or ornamental plants.

You can learn more at the workshop:
- the basics and importance of micropropagation
- the importance and significance of propagation and the steps to establish and maintain a sterile environment
- the process of plant tissue culture, the role of culture media
- the most common mistakes and how to avoid them
- a hands-on demonstration where everyone will plant Alocasia Bambino Albo/Pink Variegata or Alocasia Black Velvet Albo Variegata (available while stocks last) provided by Moai, to take home at the end of the workshop.
