Description
Micro-granular powdery mildew fungicide with high sulphur content, also for use in organic farming.
H2S is formed in the fungal spores after uptake of elemental sulphur. The toxic effect is partly explained by the fact that elemental sulphur reacts with SH groups of enzymes to form H2S, which has fungicidal activity. It forms a compound with metal-containing enzymes, mainly the ferrous ions of cytochromes. This reaction causes further inhibition of respiration.
