Description
Get more accurate data on the light available to your plants! Plants can use more than just the range of light visible to the human eye to grow. A PAR or Quantum meter measures the total amount of light that plants can use for photosynthesis (= conversion of light energy into chemical energy).

Advantages of the Quantum photometer:

The instrument provides three measurement options:

- Instantaneous measurement
- Average measurement with the SCAN function (up to 35 seconds intervals)
- Measurement of daily usable light with DLI function (24-hour measurement period, sampling every 3 minutes)

Measurement of different light sources

The hand-held quantum meter shows accurate PAR light values from any light source: from full sunlight to full shade, indoors or outdoors; from artificial light sources including LED lighting and additional light sources such as sodium, metal halide and halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, etc. The instrument automatically detects and takes into account the difference between 50 Hz and 60 Hz.

DLI - the simple and efficient determination of the amount of light

The DLI, or Daily Light Integral, shows the amount of daily light that can be used for photosynthesis for a given plant. This is influenced by the positioning of the plant, the angle of solar irradiation and the environment (e.g. shade from the structure of the greenhouse). The measurements needed to calculate the DLI are automatically taken by the instrument. The calculation is based on data from the last 24 hours with a sampling time of 3 minutes.

Multifunctional base

The Quantum meter fits in a pocket and comes with a special stand to hang or place the meter on the ground or in a plant pot of your choice. This way you can be sure that the measured value reflects the parameters available to the plant.
