Measurement data logger

An optional data logger can record all the values measured by the instrument. The memory can store 2620 measurements at a time. The data logger stores the value displayed on the display at the touch of a button and has a timer mode. In timed mode, the unit switches off between measurements to save battery power. Measurements can be exported to a computer via USB cable.

pH measurement - directly in the soil

The pH is one of the most important parameters for the nutrient supply of plants. The uptake of nutrients is strongly influenced by the pH value, therefore a fast and accurate pH measurement is essential for professional cultivation. The instrument allows you to measure the chemical pH directly in the growing medium and in solutions.

EC measurement

The electrical conductivity (EC) of liquids is directly related to the amount of dissolved salts. It is important to measure the EC of irrigation water and nutrient solutions during cultivation, especially in closed systems where water is recycled.

Activity measurement

Activity measurement indicates the amount of dissolved salts and can be performed directly in the soil. The measurement shows the amount of active salts available to the plant. The instrument has an automatic heat compensation function.

Soil moisture measurement

The COMBI 5000 uses FDR technology to measure soil moisture, so the results are not affected by pH and total salinity. Volumetric water content (% VWC) provides immediate results on irrigation needs.

Soil temperature measurement

Soil temperature is measured quickly and accurately using the temperature sensor integrated in the Multi probe.

HTP probe

The HTP probe allows simultaneous measurement of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure. The built-in sensor allows very fast and extremely precise measurements. The HTP sensor is of particular importance in greenhouse cultivation where the greenhouse is ventilated and has a shading system.
