The Scheppach HS510 swing saw is a modern and very popular safe sawing machine.
Its operation is very quick and simple: place the log, board or logs in the feeder, which you can grip with the wide handle and with a light movement you can push it against the cutting wheel that saws the wood.
Thanks to the spring system, the feeder (swing) returns to its initial position.
You can push the piece of wood further so that the whole operation can be repeated and carried out very quickly.
Hands stay away from the saw blade throughout the operation.
By adjusting the fence, you can saw pieces of equal length.
The shape of the machine and its special spindles prevent the logs from shifting during sawing, and the shape also contributes significantly to cutting logs up to 170 mm long.
At the heart of the machine is a quality TCT - carbide tipped tooth - saw blade, which ensures a smooth cut; its correct sizing and placement is essential to ensure the long life of the whole machine.
The saw blade is equipped with an efficient brake that can stop it very quickly.
The saw, which partly follows the design of the Scheppach professional saw, has solid wheels, is compact and does not take up much space, yet is very stable and resistant to tipping.
The welded steel frame profiles are made with powder coating technology and are finished with a high quality lacquer.
