Growing technology:
- Sowing time: possible in spring and autumn, depending on weather and soil conditions.
- Seed rate: 25-30 kg/ha.
- Seedbed preparation: seedbed with a circular seedbed, which is not disturbed by shoe heels or tractor wheels.
- Sowing depth: 1 cm. With the new seed drills, be careful with the depth, as the seed may be deeper than desired due to the high self-weight.
- Sowing method: if there is a disc coulter in front of the drill, be sure to lift it before sowing.
- Sowing: newer seed drills have compaction rollers so there is no need to roll after sowing. Rolling is prohibited in soils prone to potting! If rolling is necessary, it should always be carried out with the drill nailed to the seed and a ribbed roller should be used instead of a smooth roller.
- Nutrient supply: 50-70 kg of active nitrogen. Do not exceed the recommended upper limit, as this may lead to the loss of white testicles. In the year of planting, the organic manure will be rewarded.
- Harvesting: avoid grazing within a year of planting to ensure that the plants are sufficiently strong and resistant to trampling.
Subsidies, compliance with regulations:
For your farm, be sure to check with your village administrator about compliance with the ACP standards you have undertaken, as well as other forms of subsidies.
This product does not comply with the Fibre Butterfly Standard as regards the minimum perennial butterfly ratio. If you wish to sow Green Aces in an area that you wish to declare to the AKG for the perennial butterfly, we recommend Green Aces AKG, which meets the perennial butterfly compositional requirements.
The AKG Green Aces criteria have not changed and our Green Aces blend complies with them (minimum 3 components, of which at least one is a butterfly, the other components can be grasses).
