Perennial fibrous butterfly cover crop for intermittently waterlogged areas.

Growing technology:
- Sowing: March - April or August - September.
- Sowing rate: 25 kg/ha.
- Seedbed preparation: a well-worked seedbed, with no traces of shoe heels or tractor wheels.
- Sowing method: sowing depth: 1 cm. With new seed drills, care must be taken with the depth, as the high self-weight may cause the seed to be deeper than desired. If you have a disc coulter in front of the drill, be sure to lift it before sowing.
- Seed drilling: the newer seed drills have compaction rollers, so there is no need to roll after sowing. Rolling is prohibited in soils prone to potting! If rolling is necessary, it should always be carried out with the drill nailed to the seed and a ribbed roller should be used instead of a smooth roller.
- Nutrient supply: 50-70 kg of active nitrogen. Do not exceed the recommended upper limit, as this may lead to the loss of white testicles. In the year of planting, organic fertiliser will be appreciated.
- Harvest: from the bud stage of purple clover and hybrid testis.
