Description
The property is located in Heves County, 70 km from Budapest, 20 km from the M3 motorway. The EU-certified Hungarian slaughterhouse is located on a regular rectangular, fenced, landscaped, paved plot. For many years the slaughterhouse was a pig and cattle slaughterhouse, and nowadays the main activity is the production of sausages and bacon.

The plant has the capacity to slaughter 400 pigs and 40 cattle, and to produce 15 000 kg of sausages and 5 000 kg of bacon per week. The renovation included modernisation of the factory buildings and technology. A high-speed line system was installed, making the plant suitable for slaughtering pigs, cattle, horses, sheep and ostriches.

These will guarantee smooth operation:
- stainless steel equipment,
- deep-freeze storage,
- blast freezers,
- fumigation chambers,
- the technology needed for production,
- pens for slaughter animals,
- concrete for truck traffic,
- truck wash, and
- its own fleet of refrigerated lorries to deliver the finished product.

The main activity of the slaughterhouse, which is still in operation today, is meat processing and preservation. While it used to produce half-carcasses and quarters, it is now involved in the production of finished products. This includes the production of deli bacon, smoked sausages and smoked bacon.
